20th Century Fox, short for Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation, is one of the major movie studios, located in Century City, California, United States, just west of Beverly Hills. This studio is a subsidiary of News Corporation, the media conglomerate controlled by Rupert Murdoch. News Corporation is a public corporation held by Rupert Murdoch. Founded in 1979 in Australia, the company moved to the United States in 1980. Perrusahaan has thousands of media, such as global rivals, General Electric. This company is the result of merging the two companies, Fox Film Corporation founded by William Fox in 1914, and Twentieth Century Pictures, begun in 1933 by Darryl F. Zanuck, Joseph Schenck, Raymond Griffith and William Goetz.
Logo and distinctive musical
20th Century Pictures logo, designed by Emil Kosa, Jr., a third line the words, "20th", "CENTURY", and "PICTURES Inc.", formed of rock or metal. The words are "stacked" on top of each other, as are the carved lines separating the rows. The word "20th" is large and the rest are small. Round the stage like structures under a pile of words and there is sotoran lights. 20th Century Fox logo, launched in December 28, 1934, just as 20th Century Pictures, with the name "FOX" replace the word "PICTURES Inc.." Typical 20th Century Fox Music was designed byAlfred Newman.
The first version released in 1932, with a moving spotlight. The second version of the animated logo was launched in 1953. In this animation, the structure is placed in the middle of the screen with a dark blue sky around the city is highlighted to the left and right.
For the second era, in the late 1940s, Rocky Longo created a logo with high contrast and crisp golden color. To get a feel of "static" in the tower, Longo tilted the number 0. And in the 1970s, there are additional registration mark (this is fitted beneath the tower, but the move to the side of the word "FOX" in 1981.
In 1981, Longo, making semi-modern animated logos, using 8 layers of glass, and realign the number 0. This logo was unveiled to the print version and registered.
The first modern version, issued in 1994 and used until the end of 2009 or early 2010, began on a black background. Then two lights sorootan grabbed on the screen, stating on air view of the structure of 20th Century Fox logo, this time in CGI. The camera is directed to the city of Los Angeles in the distance, before settling into a specified direction. At the end of the animation, displayed the words "A NEWS CORPORATION COMPANY". [1] This logo has ended on December 17, 2009.
A new logo was unveiled at the teaser trailer for Avatar, animated by the animation unit of Fox, Blue Sky Studios, the creators of Ice Age. Avatar is the first film from 20th Century Fox to use the new logo, which began to be used from the date of December 18, 2009.
